Trentham Weed Walk

Join me, Caroline @ The Cottage Herbalist, as I take you on a tour through Trentham, searching out the not so welcome 'weeds' amongst all the beautiful cottage gardens.

I'll show you not only how to ID these common weeds, but how to safely forage, harvest and process them. You'll be able to incorporate these weeds into your everday life as delicicous food and simple medicines. I'll share with you my favourite references for further foraging adventures and some great recipes too. You'll never look at the weeds in your backyard the same way! And of course we'll finish up our walk with a forgaed cuppa and wild weed inspired bite to eat for morning tea. 

Please note the weather in Trentham is usually around 5C cooler than Melbourne, and the walk will still go ahead in mild drizzle and cold temperatures (we'll just call it Misty & Mysterious!). In heavy rain, wind and extremely cold conditions, the walk will be rescheduled. Please wear appropriate clothing - hat, water/weather proof jacket, gloves and comfortable shoes.

Accessibilty: The Trentham Weed Walk is on flat paved, grassed and gravel ground through the town and along a small part of the Domino Trail with old railway tracks. It is an easy fitness level and should be accessible to most prams and wheelchairs. If you would like further information on  this, I'm super happy to chat with you.
