Hedgerow Series - Elderflower

Join me, Caroline @ The Cottage Herbalist, on a forage through the hedgerows of Central Victoria, where I'll introduce you to one of my favourite Spring herbs, Elderflower.

We will meet in Trentham and carpool out to the hedgerows of East Trentham in search of Elderflower in bloom. Along the way, we'll be discussing how to identify Elderflower, as well as its folkloric, medicinal and culinary uses. We'll then gather what we need and head back to my cottage kitchen in Barrys Reef to cook up a tasty treat and blend up a herbal preparation for you to take home.

All workshops include materials, handouts, herbal tea and botanical snacks.

Accessibility: You will need a car to drive to the hedgerows of East Trentham and back to my cottage in Barrys Reef. The hedgerows are fairly flat and may have knee-height grass and furrows in the ground.
